Campeonato mundial - entre o campeão reinante - Anand, da Índia - e o desafiante Bóris Gelfand

 Além do Interiorano de João Câmara(RN), outro grande evento enxadrístico está marcado para maio, no caso, mais um match válido pelo campeonato mundial, a ser jogado num MUSEU, entre o campeão reinante - Anand, da Índia - e o desafiante Bóris Gelfand, que, se bem me lembro, é da Bielorrússia, embora jogue por Israel.
Vejam o que o ogro disse sobre o evento :
(é o mesmo cara que disse que Anand, Topalov e Radiabov reuniam mais de 90% de chances no Mundial de San Luís (Argentina, 1995). O búlgaro ganhou.
The coming match is also the first time--if I am not mistaken-- that will see both contestants in their 40's (Anand is 42 and Gelfand is 43). I am not certain that this factor will make any difference with respect to the quality of play--experience might actually raise the over all level--but it does contrast the reality that chess is becoming more of a young person's game. Could it be that the qualification rules favour the old dogs?
